Get to know me

Hi!👋🏽 My name is Kaylah aka Kay Rose.
I am a proud Kamilaroi woman, raised in the small town of Dirranbandi in South West Queensland. I come from a big, loving, and hectic family, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Creating has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I love being able to bring ideas to life - working with different materials and turning them into meaningful pieces that I get to share with you.

I am now based on Jarrowair and Giabal Country (Toowoomba) where I live with my family of seven. Our home is crazy, loud, and full of love. We’re fortunate enough to raise our beautiful nieces and nephews, they’re a big part of the heart behind everything I do.

When I’m not creating, I’m usually dreaming up the next project. I’m also a co-owner of Mob Collective alongside my sister - a space where we create and celebrate culture, connection, and community.
